SUWANEE, Georgia, September 9, 2021 – University of South Alabama Information Technology and Avelead recently completed a comprehensive, system-wide Cerner upgrade for the University of South Alabama Health System. Working with Cerner Upgrade Center resources, USA Health was upgraded to the latest available code (2018.07.03), which allows users to take advantage of additional functionality, provides necessary updates for future projects, and resolves existing issues within Cerner Millennium.

This collaboration between USA Health and Avelead is the latest in a long-standing partnership to provide project management resources to the University of South Alabama Health System.

“A large part of our success has been the leadership of Kevin Rapert from Avelead with managing the overall Cerner upgrade. Avelead has been our partner for several years and I look forward to its continued success.”
